Sibéal Davitt

Dublin-born dance artist Sibéal Davitt is influenced by Contemporary Dance, Classical Ballet and Irish Traditional Sean-nós Dance. In 2016 Sibéal performed in RTÉ’s Centenary and as part of Embodied, a series of 6 solos by female choreographers, commissioned by the GPO: Witness History and Dublin Dance Festival. Sibéal has trained and worked with noted choreographers David Bolger (IRE), Catherine Young (IRE), John Scott (IRE), Colin Dunne (IRE), Lea Anderson (UK), Helene Cathala (FR), and Emily Johnson (USA). Sibéal is a recipient of the Arts Council’s 2016 Traditional Arts Bursary Award.
