Diane was seen as an actor/dancer in Wallflowering for Tall Tales. She previously played cello in Improbable Frequency by Arthur Riordan (Rough Magic), which received three Irish Times/esb theatre Awards. Her work with CoisCéim includes Nutcracker, Orfeo ed Euridice (produced by Opera Ireland), Swept (performed in the foyer of the Peacock Theatre and at the Kilkenny Arts Festival) and Ballads (which toured to the Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts and to the Ten Days on the Island Festival in Australia). Diane trained at the Gaiety School of Acting. As an actor, she has performed in Todd (a new musical for Kabosh), Hurl [barrabas], Antigone (a new version written and directed by Conall Morrison for Storytellers), Cat Melodeon (Noggin), Cracked (Quare Hawks), Translations (an Grianan/Fada), I Like Armadillos (Brasstacks), The Asylum Ball (Calypso), The Playboy of the Western World (Lyric), The Merchant of Venice (Second Age) and the Colleen Bawn (Abbey) which toured to the Royal National Theatre, London. She also plays cello for many theatre companies including Corcadorca, Rough Magic and the Abbey.
