Deirdre Murphy
Deirdre Murphy (writer, composer, choreographer, designer) is the creator of Capitalism: The Musical. Deirdre is a performing artist based in Dublin. Originally from Alaska, she trained extensively in dance, theatre, and vocal work before coming to Ireland in 2005. She is interested in making life more accommodating, grounding, and stimulating. She does this by performing, writing music, singing, making theatre, dancing, teaching yoga, dance, and acroyoga, training circus, throwing parties, raising children, knitting, cooking, and standing on her hands.
