Conall Morrison

Conall Morrison is an award-winning theatre director and playwright. He has twice won the Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Director, and twice won Best Production.
Most recently he directed Quake by Janet Moran (Samuel Beckett Theatre) and The United States vs Ulysses, by Colin Murphy (Pavilion Theatre), both for Once Off Productions. He has directed thirty plays for the Abbey Theatre and has directed for the Lyric Theatre, Belfast, the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Co., the Globe Theatre, English National Opera, Irish National Opera, Cameron Mackintosh Productions, and for many leading independent companies. Several of his productions have been in collaboration with David Bolger.
He has written many original plays and adaptations, including Woyzeck in Winter, his own adaptation from Buchner and Schubert (Landmark/GIAF/Barbican Theatre); The Travels of Jonathan Swift, adapted from Swift’s work, for the Blue Raincoat Theatre Company.
