Dances with Intent

It was inventive, lyrical, very funny and confirms my opinion that David Bolger is one of the finest choreographers in these islands

Its first production as a company, DANCES WITH INTENT is an action packed cocktail of humour, compassion and acrobatics which displays the diversity of CoisCéim. TAPS WITH SAX explores the comic elements of precision, percussion and panache of a vaudevillian double act. HON NIN MYO, meaning “from this moment on” is a lyrical solo dealing with the emotions surrounding death and bereavement. TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENTS, a deliciously bold piece introduces four characters caught in a world of conflicting sexual desires, where each tells a different story in a subtle comedy of manners.

…that rare thing, a truly funny dance piece, uses mime, dance and acrobatics to witty and pertinant effect
