Introducing our new website

Send Us Your Feedback

Today, we are filled with joy to unveil our new website with a huge round of applause and our deepest gratitude to graphic designer Siobhán Griffin (Alphabet Soup), web developer Tom Duke (Digital Revolutionaries) and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

Fabricated from the ground up, our new site has been designed with the visitor experience at its core – to satisfy diverse needs – from our audiences, participants, professional artists and specialists we work with, stakeholders, students who are interested in our archive to someone who randomly drops by. It's still a work in progress and we'd love to hear your feedback – please email Sarah with any comments that you might have at info@coisceim.com. THANK YOU!

SUSTAINABILITY

Funded through a Stream E grant, this mammoth project included the migration of 30 years of data from a patchwork site that included elements from 1999 and was "...dirtier than 96% of web pages tested..."

With this new website, sustainability has been considered at every stage of the process and included building a bespoke content managment system. We are so proud to report that this time, the International Website Carbon Calculator - said "Hurrah! This website has achieved a "B" rating...being cleaner than 82% of web pages globally..." – and that we have attained one of our key Environmental Action Plan goals within a year.
