A special screening of the Broadreach commissioned short film LOVE LETTERS| A LOVE LETTER TO LIFE directed by Philippa Donnellan will take place as part of the dance programme at Richmond Barracks this October.
The film will be screened as part of a double bill with DANCE TILL DÁN on Tuesday 22 October in Richmond Barracks, after the 6pm Dance Delights workshop.
The screening will be approximately 30 minutes followed by an informal discussion about the films led by the Richmond Barracks dance artists in residence Philippa Donnellan and Mia DiChiaro. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served.

LOVE LETTERS | a love letter to life - commissioned by CoisCéim Broadreach
A joyful and irreverent tribute to life, this short dance film offers lively insight into the precious moments, thoughts and realities of this passionate group of dance lovers. This film was created, performed and filmed by the participants of the LOVE LETTERS INTENSIVE led by Philippa Donnellan in September 2020.
DANCE TILL DÁN
This celebration of community, poetry, and dance on film has been screened widely from Berlin’s ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival to China’s ROLLOUT dance film festival. The project was initiated by Fatima Groups United with choreographer Mia DiChiaro and filmmaker Lorna Fitzsimons. Winner of St Patrick’s Festival TikTok Creative Fund Award 2022 and Creative Lives Ireland Award 2022.
