HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID was a dance performance project for people aged 50+ which took place at Dance Limerick. It was inspired by the magical world of film, and by some of the most famous films, classic scenes and iconic film stars of all time.

HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID began with a free taster dance workshop at Dance Limerick, which over 30 people attended from across Limerick City and beyond. Beginning in April, twice weekly drop-in classes offered people the opportunity to exercise and create their own dance phrases – and after the cclass to chat over a cup of tea. Inspired by such memorable films as The Pink Panther, Thelma and Louise, The Godfather, Casablanca and others, the choreography brought to life some of the magic, movement and mayhem of the silver screen.
HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID culminated in a vibrant and suitably dramatic dance performance by twenty enthusiastic participants for friends, family, and members of the public at Dance Limerick on Sunday 15 May 2016.
