A CITY FUSION PROJECT WITH CREATIVE STEPS YOUTH DANCE FOR AGES 15 – 25

In January members of Creative Steps began working with renowned choreographer Muirne Bloomer to develop choreography for the parade. From 2014 to 2016 St. Patrick’s Festival presented a three-year thematic journey of ‘Past, Present and Future’. In 2015 the theme ‘CELEBRATE NOW’ drew inspiration from the artistic creations from Ireland’s present – with the intention to savour the moment and embrace all that is taking place culturally in our communities.
Together with Muirne, the Steppers worked hard to create some effective choreography. Dressed in fabulous, flowing pink out-fits designed by Costume Designer Sabine D’Argent, Creative Steps came together with other community groups in Dublin to dance energetically in St Patrick’s Day Parade – 17 March 2015.
