Pageant Workshops

EXPLORE – DISCOVER – TAKE PART

PAGEANT a new dance performance from CoisCéim Dance Theatre - Choreographed by David Bolger and Muirne Bloomer.

David and Muirne have choreographed many large scale spectacles involving hundreds of dancers for opening ceremonies such as the Special Olympics and the Ryder Cup. Set around a fictional ceremony, PAGEANT flings open the doors on the often hilarious memories of two of Ireland’s leading dance makers as they battle it out in a massive display of choreographic mayhem with military precision.

DANCE WORKSHOPS for schools/colleges and youth/adult groups

To accompany the production of PAGEANT, CoisCéim Broadreach is offering free dance workshops to schools/colleges and youth/adult groups who would like to come and see the show. Each workshop combines exploration of themes and choreography from the show and offers the chance to work within a creative environment to develop new skills in dance theatre.

Each workshop is led by a member of CoisCéim and can be arranged to take place at the centre where your group meet. A minimum of 10 people per workshop is required. Workshop price per person is a concessionary ticket to PAGEANT. Prices vary according to each venue.

If you would like to book a workshop & show tickets for your group contact Philippa at CoisCéim Broadreach
