As part of the Bealtaine Festival 2010 CoisCéim Dance Theatre and Dublin City Council’s Arts, Sport & Leisure, and Community Development sections came together for the third year to produce DANCE ARIAS a dance project for people aged 50+.

Creative dance sessions took place at six venues throughout Dublin City. Over 200 people took part in creating short dance pieces to the music of Bellini, Bizet, Offenback, Puccini and Verdi. DANCE ARIAS is a selection of these dance pieces performed to some of the most popular opera arias. DANCE ARIAS demonstrates the wealth of creativity and the passion for dance among those age 50+ in the community.
